TALENT SEARCH & DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY
Our objective is to maximize the talent of the children/youth from Rusinga to realize their full potential on whatever extra-curricular activity they choose to pursue; to enable them follow the same as a career or hobby. In order to achieve this, the centre will be adequately equipped to offer such activities as:
- Soccer.
- Volleyball.
- Netball
- Swimming
- Music & Arts
- Rugby & Athletics
- Mentorship, motivation & leadership training
But in the meantime and before the academy is established, these activities will be offered in collaboration with local schools in order to temporarily access their facilities for joint training. And in order to do this effectively we would have to temporarily equip these establishments.
When our facilities are ready, then interested children both in and out of school would be able to fully utilize them at an affordable fee.
We will also be able to organize holiday boot-camps and tournaments in various sports disciplines to engage youth and drive them from idleness, drug abuse and crime/vices related to long unproductive time.
